Sandwich, founded in 1637, is the oldest town on Cape Cod, and its village center has some of the oldest houses in Massachusetts. That history shapes exterior work here: anything visible from Route 6A or in the village goes through the Old King's Highway historic review, and the committee cares about siding material, roof color and trim profiles.
